Cindy Laoshi has been a Mandarin teacher for my two daughters aged 10 and 13. Our family had been living in Hong Kong for two years, where they learned Mandarin Chinese, and we wanted to maintain what the girls have learned. My daughters love and enjoy her lessons very much. Her lesson is well planned and when I requested homework for them, she did not hesitate to take in my request. She reviews what they learned with them to make sure that they are remembering. My daughters tell me that Cindy Laoshi is the best Mandarin teacher that they have ever had! I highly recommend her!

My kids have been learning a lot from working with Cindy. I appreciate that she tailors her lessons to each student's level and sends vocabulary lists after each lesson for study. She engages students in lots of speaking and listening so they get great practice, and explains rules of grammar. Cindy is consistently punctual and friendly. I have taken six lessons with Cindy so far and really enjoy working with her as my Mandarin Tutor! She is professional, organized, and customizes each lesson based on your level and ongoing progress. Cindy is patient and communicates clearly when it comes to teaching grammar, assigning homework, and providing feedback. Additionally, she is nice to work with and makes lessons fun by using a conversational style based on your topics off interest- which really helps me to remember and memorize language much more quickly than I ever did before! Looking forward to continued sessions with her and would highly recommend her for anyone looking to learn Chinese. :)
