- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly buying or checking out books from the library, reading blogs, newsletters, tracking trends.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a short order cook paying for music school, couldn't wait to put the kitchen behind me. Then a new family moved next door to me, the head of the household.. a skilled Chef in Italian cuisine, became an immediate friend and mentor, and forever changed the way I looked at and prepared food again. Shortly after, I found MY personality on a plate and began doing volunteer work at a known local rehabilitation center and learned the power that food had to transform people and bring families together blew me away unlike anything I had ever felt before. I have since connected deeply with my new found passion, and believe me when I say it's hard to get me to step out of a kitchen now.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my clients are venues, nightclubs or radio stations.. I do backstage catering for touring performers and crew members. I also work with breweries at festivals doing beer/food pairings.
