- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I became a stay-at-home mom after having my 4th daughter. I've always held a great interest and appreciation for art and thought this would be a fun hobby that I'd be able to share with my children.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Painting for private birthday parties and corporate events are by far the most common.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for a true professional and realize that steep discounts or rock bottom prices can sometimes be a red flag for sub-par products or a poor level of skill. A real professional will have invested their time, resources and money into their business, because they want their customers to know that they are hiring a trusted service provider and their rates will reflect that. Rates are usually competitive with other local professionals and typically reflect the cost of the high quality products/materials that are used, experience, efficiency as well as the costs for gas, insurance and advertising (just to name a few). Please dont forget, SKILL is also a HUGE factor!
