Fruit-Shaw Piano School

Fruit & Shaw Music School offers piano lessons for $9.00 per hour! Besides piano, the students will learn how to name notes with exercises and games. They will count advanced rhythms by playing on drum pads. Students will learn the basics of conducting. They will receive instruction by Julliard trained musicians on how to sing and how not to sing by watching a video. The students will become acquainted with guitars to the point that they can tune a guitar. The goal of the school is to prepare students to enjoy music throughout their lives. The purpose of the school is to prepare musicians who can participate in their communities. The philosophy behind the teaching is: muscles to the mind. If it is in your muscles right, then it has got to be in your mind right. There are hands-on and foots-on activities! The instructor has taught thousands of students, has a masters degree and is a credentialed teacher. The school has been opened since 1995. Call Bill Bartholomew. Class Times: * Monday - 3:30, 4:30, 5:30, 6:30, 7:30 * Tuesday - 3:30, 4:30, 5:30, 6:30 * Wednesday - 2:30, 3:30, 4:30, 5:30, 6:30 * Thursday - 3:30, 4:30, 5:30, 6:30, 7:30 * Friday - 2:40 and 3:40 * Sunday - 2, 3, 4 Piano lessons are with Mr. G. Private tuba lessons cost $25.00 per half hour at the school. Mr. G. played for 20 years in recording studios in L.A. including 8 years at Disney. Directions: One block west of the intersection of Fruit & Shaw. Go south on Delno. Turn right into the first driveway. Go past the square office. 1561 W. Shaw is located in the second rectangular building halfway down the driveway. Private lessons for piano, horn or tuba are available upon request.
