Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. My favorite clients are the ones who are in complete agreement as to how they've going to handle their divorce and are able to come into my office with their terms well thought out and are able to still be respectful and civil to each other, especially if there are little children involved since they will have to continue dealing with each other for the children's sake.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Be wary! Most likely they have never had to hire an attorney or legal assistant before so they have to feel very comfortable with that person's experience and knowledge. They are entrusting their lives to whom ever they hire and if it's someone incompetent, the damage often cannot be undone.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I have been a Family Law Paralegal/Legal Document Assistant for over 23 years. I do the same paperwork for you that I do for an attorney.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I enjoy being able to help people get through one of the most difficult and emotionally devastating situations that they have to suffer.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. People frequently want to understand why their relationship failed. It is my job to listen and offer support while they try to put the pieces of their lives back together.
