FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I base my rates on distance from my home, amount of time spent with pets, details of job and the number and types of pets. I believe my prices are fair and reasonable based on my experience and knowledge.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk to the customer to learn about their needs and details about their pets. I then will set up a meet and greet to go over important information about their health, feeding and care requirements. Once they sign a service agreement, I can get started. I collect forms, payment and secure keys. Once a customer, future reservations can be made by email, phone or text. No need to meet again unless customer feels it is necessary.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I attend professional pet sitting conferences when offered and I am CPRFirst aid trained for pets. I attend monthly network meetings with fellow pet sitters and work very hard to learn as much as I can about the animals I care for so they are comfortable and happy when their owners are away.
