Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Take time to go to the studio and meet the people you might be working with. For lack of a better term, the "vibe" you get when you are in the facility and with the people is a good indicator if they will be good for your project.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. At this point most customers don't see the need for a professional studio. You can do a lot at home. The secrets we have are in the 20+ years of experience and the will to make everything that comes through our studio sound like a record, regardless of budget. Some of those secrets are left over from the days of tape which is a format younger artists have very little knowledge of or experience with. Every job is different. One big secret is objectivity. A producer or engineer can give the artist another viewpoint. That doesn't happen often when the artist is by themselves in a home studio working alone.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. on my session, when does the clock start?
What can you play/show me as a demonstration of your abilities?
Do you comprehend and or like my style of music?
