FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The price is based partly on the amount of time I will be performing at the gig, and/or how long the gig takes place. Also, if I will be accompanying soloists. Also, the price is based on whether the equipment (keyboard, possible speakers) are already there, or if I will need to bring my own equipment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After I accept a gig, I generally will like to go there a few days beforehand to see the place and the keyboard, and where I will be performing---just as a precaution. Unless, of course, this is an emergency or someone needs me the next day or two. I need to know whether the equipment is already there (keyboard, perhaps speakers) or if I need to bring my own equipment. I generally do only keyboard---not vocals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
University of California at Los Angeles, Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) University of Southern California, Master of Music (MM) Biola College (now University), Bachelor of Music (BM) All degrees I was majoring in organ performance.
