Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Having an idea of what you need from me will make the initial conversation go much smoother. Do you have trouble in the mornings and need breakfast? Are you cooking one set of meals for the adults and another for the children? Did you just discover a food allergy and need help working around it? I can help with all these things, but knowing what direction to head in helps a lot.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love feeding people, full stop. My favorite thing is helping discover new foods or learning to love food they thought they didn't like. Everyone has to eat, I feel that we should do it well.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. I was catering a small dinner and served a roasted eggplant appetizer. I was in the kitchen preparing the next course when I heard "Is this eggplant? I hate eggplant, but this is delicious!"
