I bring many years of experience as a designer and art director and also as a creative director for a variety of clients and industries, including food, retail, travel, software, high-tech, publishing, toys and games, construction and trades, sports equipment, festivals, and even a race car team!

My design company, Abalone Design Group, has been serving companies and agencies in the Bay area since 1990. My clients have included Intel, Sun Microsystems, Lucasfilms, Boudin Bakery, and even that deli down the street. Yes, I have several clients with almost no budget. However big or small your budget is, I can still offer you a combination of my skills, talent, and experience that you won't find unless you go to a big agency for big bucks.

My area of specialty is branding and package design, but most of my best work also includes ad and collateral designs, too. I am available as a freelance consultant, and I will also listen if you have some sort of special opportunity available within the San Francisco Bay area.
