Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Unusual wood work projects that a lot of other companys wouldn't touch
there isn't a lot of profit in my buisness but a lot of satasfaction.
I work with a lot of designers. I have a designers eye
not a builers so we tend to work together quite well
my website is better at explaining what I do

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I make custom wood work pieces from the beginning of the project to the delivery.
I draw, design and make the pieces my self no helpers no other party is involved.
if you comissioned an artist to do a painting and he or she had a helper paint the background
it just wouldn't be right

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. When I get new ideas I can see how the piece I'm building will look
when I take a risk with a new idea that has a new look
and I see the look and smile on the clients face i know I'm on the right track.
Having my old clients come back and give me full creative licence

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How long will it take to have the project delivered.
It usally takes six weeks to have most projects completed if it's a cabinet.
When I build one of a kind pices it takes longer.
Quality and design will take a little time.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. At my school in Ireland I I loved wood shop
there was an opening for three apprintices in one of the best joinery workshops in Ireland in 1979 I was selected to be one of those three.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I have almost finished an organ facade for a church in el segundo California .
The front has gothic arches with rippled wood saurces inside (the overall look would droplets of rain on a pond)
I wanted the piece to have some drama and some cause for reflection.
