- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would encourage you to outline goals and expectations with your teacher. Everyone (even beginners) start at a different level. My first lessons typically begin with a discussion of what the students already knows, what the student would like to learn in the short term and in the long term. Personality is also important. I like to allow the student a free first lesson to see if the personalities seem like a match. It's so important that you and your child feel comfortable and safe with an in home instructor!
