I needed two doors installed in my home. The bathroom door had been missing for a couple of years and Seaside Builders installed a new door which was not prehung and did an excellent job. The second door was a pocket door which I was unable to use because the rollers were bad (this is the original door in my home which is 62 years old). They had to take off the old track and replace it with a new track and new rollers and now I am able to finally use my door once again. They did a great job. They clean up after themselves also. I also am having some work in my kitchen done by them such as new electrical outlets, new plumbing and patch work currently and so far they have been outstanding in what they have done. I had a bay window crack in the Whittier quake and they replaced it quickly and seamlessly. I was very happy with their work. They also installed new windows through my home in one day and the work they did was professional. I can't say enough about the quality of work Seaside Builders has provided me in the past ten years and I will continue to hire them on any job that comes up next.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your homework, only hire licensed contractors and make sure they have workers comp and general liability insurance. Check their references and ask for pictures or a web site do you can view past projects. You should get at least 3 estimates and sometimes the cheapest guy is not the best choice.
