Ophira Dance is an emergent educational production company dedicated to the enhancement of community through the study and presentation of tribal belly dance.
Nestled in the San Jacinto Mountains of southern California, we offer a unique opportunity to explore the unrivaled benefits of this special dance.
We offer bi-weekly classes in American tribal-style belly dance. All levels are welcome.
Additionally, we are available for hire for private and public events, as well as private lessons. We serve the Idyllwild area.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. When looking for bellydance lessons, be sure you know what style you are looking for. There are several different types of bellydance, including: Cabaret, Oriental, Tribal, Tribal Fusion, ATS and even more. Knowing what style attracts you will make your experience better.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Belly dance is FUN! And, it is a great workout. If you hate going to the gym, but know you need a cardiovascular workout, belly dance is a great solution. The camaraderie and social aspect of taking lessons is also invaluable.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. The questions you will want to ask, depend on what you are hiring a dancer for: Is it for an event, or simply for lessons.
If you are hiring for an event:
1. What is your going rate?
2. How many dancers do you bring with you?
3. What do you need in terms of space and equipment in order to perform?
4. How long are your performances?
If hiring for lessons:
1. How often are your classes and what is your rate?
2. What levels do you teach? How do I know at what level I should begin?
3. Do you have performance opportunities for your students?
