Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. My most common jobs are birthday parties, fundraisers, schools, churches, dances, restaurants, and holdiay events.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Before you hire any entertainer you preview their work and their credibility. References are good too!
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Inside secrets?
The golden rule is something we all learned when we were little and it still works today. I treat every customer the way I would want to be treated if they were at my house at my children's birthday party.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. It is best to know how many kids are going to be at the party.
If renting our train, we also need to know there is ample space to drive it, on a non-busy street.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. We are serious about parties :)
We want your special day to be just that- SPECIAL! Our services are unique and set us apart from the rest. We create personal parties that create memories to last a life time!
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. What is not to like?
I love every aspect of my job. There is not a day I don't smile doing what I do. I can't express enough how much I love it!
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. How long have you been painting?
I have been in love with all forms of art from the moment I could hold a crayon and dance to the radio. My mother was kind enough to allow me to express myself through art at a very young age.
I have studied art, art history, and all forms of mediums. Face painting became my passion after becoming a mother. I realized I could paint and be around kids at the same time and I knew I had found my calling in life.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. There are so many favorites! How to choose?
In general I would say my favorite is to see a child's eyes light up from the entertainment I provide. Whether it is watching kids go on a train ride, or the look in the mirror when they see their face painting for the first time... and the second.. and coming back for the 3rd look and more. It is precious!
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. I would like everyone to know that spaces fill up quickly. I do my best to accomodate everyone, but for best availability please reserve your party date in advance.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I have loved kids and been an artist and a small business owner for as long as I can remember. It was after I had children of my own that I combined my love for art into a business. There is nothing better than being able to celebrate and create memories that will last a life time on each child's special day!
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. My favorite jobs are when I volunteer for a charity. The last charity event I did was last week for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. Of course! Just like anything, the more you learn the more you grow.
