Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I go the extra mile for my students. While lessons can be expensive, you may find my lessons more affordable than you initially considered. "From confusion comes understanding. It represents the essence of approaching with all ways and yet no way. One thing which truly excites me about music is how it offers such joy and balance yet it also invites us to advance (in time) creative facilities, advanced learning strategies, communication skills, and a variety of other intelligences. I am pleased to offer one free one hour lesson to find out if you or a loved one can benefit from my lessons. In my humble opinion, forward thinking people challenge themselves and appreciate how long term commitments should reward them greatly. Guitar, ukulele, voice, many musical styles and music theory, and more are awaiting. Whether your goal is to produce your own music, strum chords and sing, or play melodies of classical, blues, rock, jazz, pop and many others, these lessons can help you get to the next level, even if from the ground up. To further demonstrate my commitment and passion for teaching, I'm open to negotiate my lesson fees for the right students, if they cannot afford my normal price, effective through August 2018. I love working with people and the challenge of communicating effectively which teaching brings. Many of my students are also my friends. I am pleased to be of service. Yes, even to you.

Having only played the guitar as a hobby, I was at most only casually familiar with the guitar and all its subtle nuances. I went to my first lesson with a bit of apprehension. Lyndon made me feel extremely comfortable and eager for another lesson. Try him, you wont regret it. What stood out to me was his clever hints and techniques for guitar playing, before I was intimidated by all the strings but after only an hour with him, I feel much more at ease

Knowledgeable, active, and punctual instructors. I took class with Lyndon through the school UCI, and continued to have private lessons with him. Lyndon has knowledge in different styles of guitar. He always encourages students to practice steadily at their comfort pace.

He is a knowledgable guitar/piano instructor and takes teaching seriously, but he also has a way of keeping lessons lively and fun. He has done well instructing my daughter on guitar.

Lyndon was very professional, punctual and well prepared. I am a 40 year old beginning guitar student. Lyndon has done a great job teaching to my level and moving me forward in class and with practice exercises. Highly recommend him as a teacher. And what a nice guy!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Most clients take private one on one lessons. In elementary schools from Huntington to Laguna Beach, 6 - 10 elementary students take an 8 week introduction to guitar in after school programs.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

First consider the investment you are willing to make. Lessons can be pretty expensive. If you are looking for the cheapest option, you can try finding random folks on craigslist if you are feeling bold. Otherwise, look for classes (which I do teach). While classes aren't likely to take young students too far, they will get a general sense of the instrument, and with the right instructor, a fun experience. If you are not on such a tight budget, take a few different lessons from different studios. Most of them offer a free introduction to the teacher sort of lesson.
