My name is Steven Welker. I am a musician for hire to teach saxophone, clarinet, flute and guitar. I graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2005 with a B.A. in Music Performance.
In addition to teaching privately, I also work 2 days a week teaching at the Boys and Girls Club Youth Arts Academy.
I am located in East County but make house calls all over the southern half of the county.
I work on all ages, skill levels and styles. My students currently range from age 9 to 62, from Bach to Green Day. I also teach Music Theory and Performance Technique.
I have reasonable rates. Pay the same as you would in a music shop but without the drive!
