I am currently receiving personalized instruction from Native Tongue. For years, I have been learning Spanish a little here and there. Sr. Londono has shown the professional and academic expertise to adapt to the student's needs and preferences.
As I learn concepts, he moves me to another step to improve my knowledge of Spanish. But what makes it worthwhile is he is adept at making a student grow "organically" like a native speaker.

Fabian is an excellent Spanish teacher. His lessons are engaging and well paced, but always fun - definitely not all rote memorization. I highly encourage anyone that is interested in learning to speak Spanish to take lessons with Native Tongue: Professional Instruction.

Fabian:
I have really enjoyed the Spanish classes I have had with you. It seems like there is never a question that you don't have the answer to- it's amazing! Furthermore, I really appreciate being instructed by someone who works in their own "native tongue" because I know all words are being pronounced exactly as they should be.
All of your encouragement just motivates me to learn more. You sure make learning fun!

A. Many references are available for the kind of work we do both for the experience and for educational credentials. It is no secret that when one provides a service that one believes in and loves, it will more than often provide the desired effects. It is part of our goal as teachers to, foremost, make you feel comfortable and secure about signing up for our classes. This is why your first class is absolutely free. If you are not satisfied with what we propose for a course study then there is no obligation. Everything we plan is focused around your personal learning goal.
A. Based on what many of our students have said they have been able to reach a comfort zone that they have not reached with other Instructors. Many private Spanish teachers teach out of their knowledge of Spanish based on their native fluency. This is not enough! A teacher must be able to provide all that would be offered at a school or college level and know the appropriate methodology to instruct effectively. This combined with motivational tools for the student to learn is essential to get your money's worth. We offer nothing but professional instruction and language related services like interpretation and translations. When you receive your first class/assessment for FREE you will know then just how far you can go with our specialized and personalized programs. We will map out a course study that works mainly to address your language acquisition goals. We deliver!
A. I began teaching Spanish and English over 15 years ago and I would not want to be in another field. The relationships I have found with my students are priceless because as much as I teach them I have learned so much more about the different aspects of individualized instruction. Knowing what one loves to do in life sure makes living more enjoyable. Besides being native speakers all our instructors hold degrees in one of the fields of languages, literatures or/and linguistics. This insures that your instructors are not merely there to waste your time, but that they actually like and know what they are doing. Part of our motivation to teach also has to do with the hopes of bringing English speakers closer to Spanish speaking culture and having them develop a new appreciation for all that it entitles.
Learning Spanish builds bridges to unexpected and exciting places. We are in the business of providing the best possible results!
A. 1. How fast can I learn Spanish? That always depends on what influence you've had and on the level of interest that you have for learning. Consistency is another key factor.
2. I've been learning grammar forever, but I can't speak it fluently. Why? Learning grammar and structures is essential for proper language acquisition, but it has only part to do with developing your speaking ability. Linguistic studies point to the need of completing a minimum of 760 hours of language conversation in order to begin a thinking process in the acquired language. When you begin dreaming in that language then you know you are getting there. The latter is one of the signs.

A. A dear couple, The Hawkins, who have been with us for a period of 8 months, have been an absolute delight to teach and to hang out with at their home in Encinitas CA.
They have been to our office for class, but generally we have class at their residence. We began at a level Beginner 1 and today they have reached an intermediate/advanced stage. Part of their success has been their commitment to the material presented, but mainly it has stemmed from the fun mixed with challenging drills that has allowed them to go far and keep them interested. Evey class has been similar to a 1.5 hour of chatting with good friends, every time. It is that comfort zone that allows one to welcome a new language into one's understanding.
