Joseph saved the day. My groom and I decided last minute to get married at the courthouse and put off the full blown wedding until a year later. In less than 48 hours and many, many emails later, Joseph was able to arrange his schedule to meet us nearly mid day, mid week and save our memories. Despite my very camera shy groom who very much dislikes having his picture taken, Joseph made suggestions for places and poses and when my new husband said he was done, he put his camera away.

When we got the email with the pictures I was SO happy we decided to hire Joseph!! Even better was when he then asked me to choose a few photos for editing and then sent THOSE to me! Even the hubby was happily impressed! Joseph is fun, affordable, agreeable and does a great job.

I have one particular friend (who lives out of state) who saw the photos and the work Joseph did and even SHE stated that he did a truly amazing job...ESPECIALLY at his prices.

I cannot thank Joseph enough for being patient with me while the plan changed minute by minute. Everyone loves the pics. I will have my wedding and have photos of the "big" event, but THESE will always be the photos from MY wedding day. Thank you Joseph.

    Sincerely,
    April

I booked Fun Love Photography for a surprise photoshoot. They went above and beyond, and the end result was amazing. I constantly recommend them and tell everyone about my experience. I appreciate how wonderful, professional and creative they were. It made the surprise that much better. I would use them again, and again!

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Engagements and Weddings are what I shoot the most. But sometimes I get hired to shoot events and birthday parties.
I even shoot commercial work as well.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Be very diligent with whom you hire. Just because they have a unbeatable price on craigslist, doesn't mean its always worth it. Look for the catch! The quality often matches the price tag.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I come from a film making background. I started making short films and music videos since I was a teenager. The most important thing I learned from that is Composition of the Scene. I carry this over to my photography in every shot I take. I try to give purpose the angle, or what is in the foreground or background.
I strive to tell a story with every shot, rather than snap photos to document the day.

Plus, I will do anything to get the shot I want.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love photography. And I love being social. When I see my clients eyes light up with amazement when I show them a sneak peak of a shot I just took, it makes it all worth it.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. "I'm not sure what to do, Do you got any ideas?"

And Oh Yes! I have plenty. I like to find out about what my clients like and create a photo session around them.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. This is the one I probably tell the most.

I had an amazing couple I was photographing for their engagement announcements.
The unnamed Groom was so awesome. He wanted to take a photo in the middle of a fountain. So after coaxing his bride to be to jump in for about 5 minutes, she finally did. It ended in a trip to the ER and two broken elbows and a broken wrist. She sure was a trooper though, and she still married that fiance of hers. I have the photos of their wedding day to prove it.
