Question and answer

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. First is because i take pride in the work i do. Anyone who doesnt should be embarrassed. Second is a word of mouth makes money and a good quality job makes people talk. Third i was trained by my father who taught me to take pride in my craftsmanship. And last in certain situations without a license legally customers dont have to pay me upon completion of their job.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love every aspect of my job. Im in and outdoors. The setting always changes. I meet so many different types of people. I basically get paid to stay in shape instead of paying a gym. I get to see whatever project i complete as a finished product. It pays a decent income as long as quality keeps me busy. And last i know it so well its as easy as riding a bike.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How much would it cost to... Answer call me for a free estimate. Or when can you start... Answer call me to set someting up. Seriously though. Can you get city building permits... Yes can you get blue prints... Yes. Cheap. Can you have a licensed contractor give me an estimate... Yes. My father is a general contractor. What types of payment do you accept... Cash. Check. Creditcard just make your payment to my supplier. How many years of experience do you have... Twelve years not counting labor. Will you have other jobs going on at the same time as mine... No. When i start a job i typically work 8 to 10 hour days. Monday thru friday. And saturday if the customer has no problem with work going on during weekends. Do you need money up front... In most cases no. Some situations i may need the customer to meet me at a home depot or a local supplier to pay them direct. I dont ask for any payment to me in advance. Whats the difference between using a licensed contractor or someone without a license... A licensed contractor has bonds and workmans comp insurance. This protects homeowners from getting sued due to an injury occurring on their property. Also a contractors bond can be used to cover damages or costs caused by the contractor. And licensed a contractors knowlege and experience have already been proven by the state. A contractor with a license has alot more to lose if he doesnt finish or caused property damage.
