Question and answer
Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Beeline primarily manages single family homes and condominiums. Occasionally we manage multi-plex or multi-unit homes, and even commercial properties.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Hire only property managers who are members of NARPM (National Association of Residential Property Managers) and/or IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management). Also, look for additional services or protections the property management company offers to owners and clients. Lastly, make sure the marketing program is advanced and highly effective for reaching your target audience.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Beeline is constantly working to identify problems before they arise. Our goal is to prevent problems for our clients and to help them avoid unexpected surprises and pitfalls that often come naturally with the territory.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Ask how many properties they manage. Unfortunately managers with small portfolios are unlikely to experience the wide range of problems that a larger manager will experience. By having a large portfolio of properties under our management, Beeline is better able to identify and prepare for problems that owners are concerned about and hoping to avoid.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Consider the real risk associated with managing your property yourself. Laws change frequently, and California is widely known to be a tenant-friendly state. By understanding the laws and rules of the game, a good property manager will avoid the common pitfalls that most owners find themselves falling victim to.
