Introduction: Sound Waves DJ Services is a woman-owned entertainment company, founded by Val Hopkins and serves the coastal, hi and low desert communities in Southern California. Having recently started servicing the hi-desert area, discounts will be offered for the first year that of conducting business through Thumbtack. The company was built on providing the highest quality entertainment services for a multitude of occasions, including but not limited to: weddings, corporate parties, New Year’s Eve parties, Christmas parties, birthday parties, high school reunions, and animal rescue charity benefits. For over a decade Sound Waves performed on John Wayne’s yacht, The Wild Goose (pictured), working as a regular for Horn Blower Yachts in Newport Beach. Sound Waves DJ Services was also the DJ for the Seal Beach Animal Shelter’s Annual Wag N Walk for almost 15 years, proudly donating our services to help fundraise for the shelter.
