Introduction: I understand that when people get together to celebrate a special life event (whether it be a wedding, birthday, family reunion, etc.) the entertainment needs to be an extension of their personalities. The DJ's ego and personal music preferences don't matter and take a backseat to the success of the event. It is truly an honor to be an active participant in someone's special moments.

The Tunes Guy-Paul was the DJ for our wedding September 12 '09. I really wanted a great DJ that would also run the little details that make a wedding special (announcements, beginning music, music during dinner, timeline for important parts of the wedding) to keep everything moving smoothly. i didn't want to have to think about all that, or to have someone coming up to me and telling me something every five minutes. When I signed up with Paul, he was great. He followed through on all my questions about set-up, music, everything. I was able to choose my own music from a giant list of options, and what he didn't have I provided on a CD and he worked it into the array of music. He kept me right on track by making announcements to the group about what was up and coming, which kept me on track while still freely enjoying time with my guests. His expertise with my music provided both my younger guests and my older guests with a variety of music that kept everyone happy and dancing. I had a special request for my father daughter dance of mixing up music to make it sound like a mess up. Paul not only kept the secret he played along with the joke as everyone looked in horror. It turned out great and we were so happy with the results. When I suggested a DJ my husband wasn't really excited about the expensive. Now the only thing he talks about besides saying "I do" is how Paul was the life of our party and the best DJ hes ever heard. We know will be choosing Paul for any event where we need a DJ. Thanks for making our wedding magical Mr. and Mrs. Robinson

FAQs

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I wish people would understand that most problems with a DJ occur as a direct result of shopping for the cheapest entertainer. Mobile entertainment with prices that are unbelievably cheap should raise a flag with the consumer.
