He exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond in ways that we didn’t think were possible (suggesting cheaper alternatives and always keeping us informed during and after completion of every job AND providing us with a detailed explanation of how he would complete each job as if to prove his expertise in case we had doubts). He is THE jack of all trades with the knowledge, pictures and a truck full of equipment/supplies to prove it, Including a 15 foot ladder which came in handy with our high ceilings. We initially asked him to come by to fix some lighting which he completed to perfection. After complaining to him about some plumbing and dry wall issues, he asked if he could take a look and before we knew it, he successfully repaired the plumbing and patched up all the holes (allowing us to finally use the bathtub and toilet which were leaking down into the garage…we hadn’t used them for well over 6 months). He left us speechless. His expertise is beyond measure. My wife and I have already asked him to complete a few more jobs around the house in addition to some landscaping and possibly a garage remodel. The possibilities are endless with him in our corner. HIGHLY recommend and we interacted with well over 10 contractors of all types during the home renovation in 2020."See more

The payment terms for the visit were unclear. I expected the cost to be communicated before the work began. After troubleshooting, I was charged $250, which is higher than what other electricians quoted. While this may be the standard rate for the service, customers should be informed of the charges in advance.

Here is my review and I am not complaining but sharing my experience ISSUE: 2 plug point was not working, I called Jams Electric and after his analysis he found that, in one of the point there was loose connection and he fixed that by tightening the wire and all was working fine, but once he left within 30 mins again same problem happened, when I called him, he said if he comes and check he is going to charge again same amount which he took. CONCLUSION: he will come and fix the same problem and I will have to “pay again” for the same job he did 30 mins ago amazing!! VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: he will not give any guarantee of his work “THAT IS WHAT HE SAID”, he will fix but will not give any guarantee, so you will pay for the service but will not get any guarantee. I paid 2 times the same job for analysis and fixing. Stay away from this kind of electrician, if his fix works fine then OK but if it doesn't work then you will be in a bad situation like me. License electrician works and fixes the problem but not giving any guarantee is very unusual, so tomorrow after he fixes the problem and due to his negligence if fire or short circuit happens , he will not be responsible “KEEP THAT IN MIND”. I will try to get in touch with "Department of Consumer Affairs Contractors State License Board" who issues license to electrician to understand if this is normal. Thanks, -Subrato

Saul from Pagiel Electric is an expert electrician with many years of experience leading a crew of electricians. He ventured out on his own in the past year. I didn't know any of this when I selected him for my difficult solar panel problem. I recently discovered that my 46 solar panels installed in 2009 had been offline for 6 months. I called the local solar company and they charged me $500 to provide an estimate and possible fix. At the end of their service, they said the remedy was to replace all the wiring and the inverters for all 46 panels at a cost of $7,500+tax. So that led me to Thumbtack to seek alternatives. I got a quote up front from Pagiel, he arrived early having finished his prior job early, and got to work right away. In about 3 hours he replaced a faulty wire in conduit, replaced a breaker sub-panel and components inside. After a few minutes, my panels were back online and my meter was running backward - sending power to PG&E! Pagiel Electric showed up with the required supplies and tools to fix the job in one visit based only on a few photos I supplied. I am grateful to Saul for his expertise and professionalism and would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him for any electrical job.
