Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Unlike many other tax and financial advisors, I am a Comprehensive Financial Planner. I have the training and experience to see the big picture and how the various pieces, cash flow management, taxes, risk management and investments, including real estate, fit together to form a complete financial picture and how get from where you are to today to where you want to be tomorrow. I view taxes as being like a jigsaw puzzle; the key to success is fitting all the unique pieces together for a complete picture of client's particular tax situation, planning, preparation and support, in order to get the best result for the client and help them to minimize their tax liability to the extent they are legally entitled to. I like helping my clients save money by avoiding the mistakes that can lead to paying more in taxes than they have to.

Our taxes are complicated as we are not from the U.S..Robb took the time to ask us information and found the answers. He was very helpful. We used HR block previously but the difference in individual help was amazing. We will definitely use Robb in the future.

Robb is excellent. Very self-guided, so he doesn't require a lot of direction if you are a busy person. Extremely punctual, very positive attitude, responsive to questions, patient with requested changes, and generally awesome to work with.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

For tax preparation, we charge by the form, not by the hour. That way you only pay for the amount of work needed to file your taxes. The expertise needed to fill out a particular form is built into the pricing for that form. It isn't complicated, but it doesn't lend itself to quick quotes without a lot of information about your tax situation up front. For comparison purpose only, an accurate and detailed quote can be had for any prior years taxes to see if you would have paid less if we had done them, but keep in mind that it should only be used as a relative guide for that year. If your tax situation changes for subsequent years, you can expect that our billing will reflect those changes.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Enrolled Agents are required to take 72 hours of continuing education every three years, with a minimum of 16 hours per year. Education credits towards this requirement are only accepted by the IRS from IRS approved providers, so you know that an Enrolled Agent is maintaining their expertise at a very high level. Higher than required by other tax professionals.
