Hello, my name is Ace Kelly. I am a Christian, and I know that nothing makes or breaks a concert or event like good sound support, and as active engineers/musicians ourselves, we know what a good monitor mix means!

APB Pro Sound is a full-service pro sound, PA, and sound system rental company that will help your event run professionally and smoothly. Small to large 'all-new', complete systems are available, depending on your needs. From 7 to 70 to 700 up to 2,000 people, indoors or outdoors, we have systems from as small as 800 watts up to 19,000 watts! We services Grammy award-winning artists, major events, webcasts, and live radio credits.

Email me an outline of your event, and phone number, or just give me a call, and we will discuss scheduling / pricing. I have used many different sound companies for our ongoing projects and events, and I would have to say that APB Pro Sound is by far the best ! Ace really went above and beyond for our concert. His sound system was professional and looked clean, but most importantly, it sounded crystal clear and was loud. Ace and his staff were really easy to work with too. I am putting APB in our regular rotation of sound reinforcement companies that we use in the south bay area. I highly recommend you call Ace Kelly when you need a Pro Sound system at a great price.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Do Not Under Estimate The Importance of Good Sound !
We are usually the last ones called for a concert, festival, or an event, and in all reality, we should be one of the first. Working with your Sound Professional during the planning stage, can make your event a hassle free experience. Due to extensive years of experience on deck, and behind the sound board, I can make recommendations and suggestions for your event that will help you plan, and make your event a success, not a headache.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. The amount of set-up, and break down time. Having the proper amount of Set-up time, especially for larger events is very important. And most of our customers really don't know the complexities of loading in, laying out, and sound checking the P.A. BEFORE PEOPLE ARRIVE. It can make an event seem disorganized and ill planned, if the sound man is still setting up when guests or fans start to arrive.
And an inside secret would be, Bigger Is Better when it comes to sound systems. There is nothing worse than Needing More Power, or Speakers, and then Not having it due to the customer wanting to save a few dollars. Turning down the volume is easy, setting up more gear during an event, is impossible. Always being prepared for more guest, and having the Sound System that can accommodate is vital.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Amount of in the field experience is Priceless. Performing your Trade, and Honing your Craft is not something that can be done with a couple of gigs, or events, And your Sound Reinforcement Specialist Should love it when the customer asks plenty of questions.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I have a passion for Live Sound, and how to make it be as transparent as possible. It's one thing to have a lot of gear and power, but, if you "Color" the audio with the electronics, then you are not getting the real deal. Clarity is something that I strive for in a Live Concert, or Event setting, so it sounds like you are standing right in front of the person speaking or singing, it is just louder.
