Introduction: Hi there! I'm Lissette and I teach violin and viola lessons for beginner and intermediate level students.
I've been teaching music lessons for over 10 years among various music studios and have recently opened my own studio in Long Beach. I strive to have my music lessons be productive but fun! No matter how difficult the song or exercises may be, learning music should always bring enjoyment as well as discipline.
Besides the usual material that comes with music lessons, I'm also very open to hearing what songs the student wants to learn as well.

Lissette has been teaching my daughter violin for over 3 years. She is patient, encouraging, personable, professional, and timely in her communication. She knows how to challenge my daughter while also helping her to recognize her growth. My daughter enjoys her lessons and says the time flies by. I highly recommend Lissette as a violin teacher!

Lissette is an excellent violin teacher. She combines her knowledge, experience and welcoming personality in her lessons. She caters her instruction to the individual needs of the student. She is flexible and willing to work with families for the love of music. She has further impressed us as she has supported my daughter by attending her school and extracurricular recitals. Lissette is a fantastic individual.
