    Just wanted to write a short note to thank you and your staff for the excellent job you did in selling my Long Beach property. These are hard times and I have to admit I was a little apprehensive about selling this property, you and your staff made this a very enjoyable experience. You told me you would have my property sold within the month and boy, were you right!! Not only did you sell my property within the time frame you promised but you sold it for more than my asking price, unbelievable!! Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. When interviewing Realtors, look at the California Department of Real Estate's website: www.dre.ca.gov click on "License Look-up". This will give you information on how long that Realtor has been licensed, the status of their license (i.e. expired, restricted, etc.) & any disciplinary actions on their license. Another idea is to "Google" them to see what kind of web presence they have and how are they represented online. What are people saying about them on Facebook? Check recommendations & reviews from past clients. Are they on Facebook? Are they on Realtor.com? How many clients are they currently working with? If you are a seller, are they the Realtor that specializes in your area? If not, you may want to consider interviewing that local area expert, they will most likely price your home better since they specialize YOUR neighborhood and the market there.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. With today's technology it is very easy for Realtors to loose that personal touch that is so crucial in a Real Estate transaction. One of the biggest reasons I became a Realtor and why I stay in this business is because of the great relationships I've cultivated. When you SELL or BUY your house with The Joe Sopo Team you'll experience the perfect combination of that personal touch complimented by the convenience of today's technology. You'll still be dealing with REAL PEOPLE that you can reach easily buy phone, text, or web.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. What I truly enjoy most about selling Real Estate is all of the wonderful people I have come across over the years. I have been able to build life long friendships with many of my past clients. This is a business that is based on building relationships with people and that is one of the things that has kept me in Real Estate for 30 years.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. The Real Estate Industry has come such a long way! From unlocking Supra Lock-boxes with your iPhone or Droid to being able to complete a transaction overseas thanks to the beauty of e-signatures; there are always new and exciting things to share with clients, customers & prospects. More and more Realtors are moving toward paperless solutions to save time and money for those involved in a Real Estate Transaction. We are also using QR (quick response) codes in all of our marketing! With most of the population always on the go but never without their smart phone, why not make it fast and convenient to scan property details to your phone and then give them the capability to post to Facebook or e-mail to a friend??
