Survey findings and summary
After a two-month survey of over 6,000 small business owners nationwide, Thumbtack.com has released new data showing that small businesses placed Los Angeles near the bottom of most categories, ranging from ease of starting a business to environmental regulations.
Some of the key findings for Los Angeles include:
- Los Angeles' best grade was a 'C-' for its training programs. Los Angeles received a grade of 'D' or 'F' in 8 of the 12 categories that small businesses rated.
- Los Angeles small businesses are California's #2 least healthy economically.
