- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up working for my parents who both had their own small businesses. It was rewarding and I learnt the need for a savvy accountant and bookkeeper as small business accounting needs vary from those of corporate firms. The reward of helping someone grow a business is more that I can explain and makes my work more and more enjoyable each day!

- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We can offer you as much or as little service as you need, whether it is 10 hours a week or just a few hours each month. If your needs are not that great, the chances of hiring someone willing to work just a few hours are remote, especially someone with over 15 years experience in managing the books of a variety of small to medium businesses, such as we can offer. With an employee, even part-time you have to add the cost of payroll taxes, benefits, workers comp, disability and administration.
