I am a graduate of the University of Southern California, with a B.A. in Fine Arts and Psychology, and I am currently making my living with my paintings and through creative teaching jobs. Most recently, I was involved in the Dallas-based program Big Thought's Thriving Minds summer camp, where I served as an assistant teaching artist to elementary school children. I am also an experienced academic tutor and am open to working with students of all ages, including those with special needs.
I am eager to expand my horizons as an art instructor, especially at a time when creative programs are being cut from school budgets, made less available to young students. As this is of great concern to me, I wish to make extracurricular creative opportunities available to talented, dedicated students at an affordable rate.
