I was born in Los Angeles, and grew up in Laurel Canyon in the music scene. The people I grew up around, created the Monterey International Pop Festival. I began playing music at four years old, and guitar at ten years old. I have my first band in the 5th grade, and performed for my 6th grade graduation. I grew up around many famous artists. I also had a band in Junior High and High School and studied and performed concerts with my band. At eighteen years old, I was given my first opportunity to work as a guitarist, performing on recording sessions for very well established music professionals.
I went on to study music in college and then in music school for three years. All the while I was working, performing live at parties, weddings, doing concerts, performing in clubs and on recording sessions. I have gone on to work with every top musician from just about every major act. I have also been signed to several contracts as a recording artist. With my advance money I opened a commercial recording facility and gained a great deal of experience in building and operating recording studios and producing music for records, TV, and film. Currently I am writing and producing music for a hit television show. Songs from my Aaron Wolfson CD have gone to #1 on several Internet radio stations, including Neil Young's website.
My job involves working with many gifted artists. It is a people business, and I enjoy working with many interesting and creative people. Since my work is creative and often improvisational, it is always new and interesting. And, since I have devoted my life to my creative work, it is a blessing that I am able to be of service and to bring joy to so many wonderful people.
