FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I only charge for the work I have to do. I don't charge a flat fee because sometimes the client would be taken advantage of and sometimes I would be taken advantage of. Each case is different. If you have two cars you want to keep, $275K in debt and a garnishment - your case will cost more than the person with no car, no house and $10K in debt. *I am always willing to work with reasonable clients. *Chapter 7 filing fees are $335 Chapter 13 filing fees are $310. If you hire me and we think you'll qualify - I'll fill out your fee waiver application for free. *I offer a $50 discount if you submit your documents electronically (fax/email/scan).
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Wealthy people using bankruptcy as a financial planning & strategy tool. *All people needing time to manage their debt *People needing to stop a foreclosure and handle their past due payments over time *People need to stop a garnishment and get their money back from a garnishment *People needing to stop court cases, phone calls, harassment *People needing to stop a repossession Anyone in over their head that needs a fresh start and to repair their credit quickly
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I had a client facing foreclosure. She hadn't paid her mortgage consistently in five years. She was already working on the side and selling hair put of her trunk. She had no way to pay the arrears needed to save her house. She owed $24K on her car but it was having problems. I was able to cramdown the car and prove it was worth less than 60% of what she owed. I used In Re Till to lower her interest rate and her monthly payments went from $535 go $110!!! She was able to save the house and the car.
