Cedric is a graduate of USC Law School in 2006, where he served on the law review and achieved many academic and pro bono awards. After graduating, he worked for the corporate firm, O'Melveny and Myers, before leaving for his new career at the Orange County Public Defenders' Office.

Cedric was in one of the busiest and most conservative courts in the country, but still thrived, especially with client relations, plea bargaining, and trying cases.

Since being on his own, Cedric has successfully tried an attempted-murder case (it was declared a mistrial due to judicial error), and represented those accused of felony assault to felony sale of marijuana.
