Emily's Private Dance Lessons

Introduction: Emily Queliz is an actress and dancer based in Los Angeles, CA. Her passion for film and television began at the early age of six, after being inspired by the film "Titanic", and the performances given by Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio. Emily's interest in the arts led her mother to enroll her in her first dance classes at the age of seven. Her professional dance training, however, did not start until she was 19 years of age at Santa Monica College, where she got invested in the history of dance and fell deeply in love. She has trained in many different dance styles, including, but not limited to ballet, modern, salsa, African, jazz, Aztec, and cha-cha. As a performer, Emily has been cast in Global Motion Dance Company for three years, Synapse Contemporary Dance Company for three seasons, and Oviedo Dance Company for over a year, where she also assists in teaching. Emily had the opportunity of performing twice at Disney's California Adventures and she traveled to Beijing, China, in 2013 to perform at the Beijing Tourism Festival. Emily wants to dedicate her life to the sharing of art all over the world.
