About
Being able to go into the home and show the family that a routine can be made to fit the dog in is what makes me stand out. A lot of trainers will just meet in one place every time or clients will take their dog to a class in an enclosed room, but that isn't reality. The dog learns best in real life scenarios, like being inside the home or in the yard. That's where the problem needs to be managed first otherwise it's difficult for the owner to translate it to the dog, that not only does he need to behave in the training ring with the trainer, but at home as well. Being able to see a physical change in a dog's demeanor, seeing him feel more confident makes my day. Being able to be a part of the training process and having dogs be family members is my goal.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

Ever since I was a kid I had a knack for dog training. I have been doing it successfully since I was 11 and ever since I've been stuck.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Puppy classes are my most common because people adopt puppies or even new dogs and don't realize the commitment or responsibility so I go in and help figure out a routine that best suits you and your family's day to day lives.
