A. The most asked for service is to provide a cma. This is an evalutation of the value of a property in the current market. Although the current real estate market is down (compared to other years) homeowners who have owned over 15 years can ususally expect to see a profit on their homes. People who have owned 15-25 years often are thinking about downsizing and moving to smaller, more easy to manage homes. It's best to perform a cma at the residence, because there are home features a realtor would need to see to evaluate. For instance, a lovely garden, patio or view would add value to your home in the eyes of a potential buyer. Choose an agent who has experience in your area for the best results!
A. Since the sale or purchase of real estate is time consuming, taking often three months or more, it's important that you have trust in your realtor to provide you with competant and professional service. Before starting to work with a realtor, arrange for a meeting to discuss your goals. You should have a good rapport with the realtor and have confidence in their ability to sell your property. Most agents have a sales/marketing background so ask your agent what they have done in the past. Find out if your agent has taken any continuing courses to improve their service to you. This will tell you what commitment your realtor has to their profession.
A. Real Estate is a profession, like any other. Some take it very seriously by furthering their education, keeping abreast of new changes in the industry, networking with other agents. It does make a difference who you choose to work with for the purchase or sale of your property. My background in business and dual designation in Commercial as well as Residential Real Estate gives my clients an advantage that I believe will benefit them.
A. When i studied for my real estate license i had 24 years of sales and customer service in my background. I was trained in residential real estate, but my extensive business background also made me a natural in commercial real estate which i also studien. In my own past real estate purchases i had disappointing experiences with agents , so i wanted to be all the things those previous agents.. Were not! My goal is to bring what i know, to every real estate transaction to benefit my clients.
