FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have active mentors in the fitness field. I continue to add certifications to expand my knowledge base. I also attend conferences and seminars by nationally recognized fitness entities.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a life-long athlete, I have always been driven to push my limits, achieve goals and make myself the best I could be. When I was in college, I decided to study Behavioral Neuroscience (a focus on motivation and learning) because I wanted to help those around me to grow to higher heights and become stronger versions of themselves. Becoming a personal trainer was the best thing that ever happened to me. It allowed me to integrate my passions into a way of life.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice for customers would be to hire someone who has a passion for continuous education. As we learn more about the body and how it functions, the health field evolves. You should hire someone who is keeping up to date in this ever-changing field.
