Introduction: I'm more than a personal trainer. I'm also a life coach. An entrepreneur, a professional photographer, an owner of a web agency, I was a nationally ranked gymnast - and gymnastics strength and conditioning coach, a former military officer, and an owner of a Sport Nutrition Store. My background is unique, full of variety, and throughout all of these adventures, I've found ways - and the time - to stay healthy and in good shape, and can share these tricks with you, so that your busy lifestyle doesn't interfere with your desire - and your inherent right - to stay healthy and fit. Helping people transform and re-prioritize their lifestyle choices and make lifelong commitments towards living a healthy lifestyle that endures. I also owned and operated a Sport Nutrition Store called Supplements & Sundries, in Silverlake, for about 2 years. I have a strong background in Nutrition and Sport Supplementation.

Excellent personal trainer, Fitz gets the best out of you and really cares about getting results. He has an extensive knowledge of the body and is fun to train with as well. Fitz also changes the workouts frequently and is quite comprehensive of diet and nutrition. Highly recommended.

Fitz is a great trainer. He pushes me very very hard, but in a good way. He's also really knowledgeable in nutrition, which is helpful for a whole body fitness program.

Fitz is a great trainer. As I began my fitness program, he was patient with me as much possible, but managed to push me to my limits. The 60 minutes spent on each session were very productive. While one part of my body rested, the other was being worked out. Can't wait for my next workout with Fitz!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Always reading articles on nutrition, diet fads (so I can speak to my clients about them, either in a positive way, or de-bunking the myths), watching training videos to address specific training objectives for unique client goals, and always talking with my peers in the industry to understand how they tackle unique issues or challenges with their clients.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've always loved athletics and exercise, but what's most rewarding is the coaching aspect. There is no sense of job satisfaction than that of being an effective teacher - helping others to realize their dreams and goals, positively impacting their life, giving them the encouragement and guidance to overcome obstacles and impart skills they carry with them the rest of their life. That is an awesome feeling.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Most folks who come to me are overweight, out of shape, and have the deep desire to change things, but have no clue where to start. I can get you back on track. Follow my direction, stay consistent, disciplined, and motivated, and there's nothing you can't accomplish.
