FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
each job is pretty much done on an individual basis but when it comes to basic repair were where the project is not very big it's most likely done on a T&M time and material basis for bigger projects it has to be broken down into bidding a project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
most of all I want my potential customer to be diligent about their wants and needs doing their homework before putting the horse before the cart. if it is a simple project we talked about the few things they're wanting to have done and create a punch list and then expedite those items based on feasibility and cost. if they're going to do something more extensive such as a room addition keep in mind that most contractors are NOT architects . on structural components and ways to save money "sometimes" it's good for Me/ contractor to interface with the customer and the architect.. but it's been my experience that this only works effectively when both parties have equal respect and admiration for each other regardless of their occupation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have several certificates in the field of construction technology including my associate arts degree, 10 years in the Carpenters Union too many different types of work. and actually a licensed contractor for more than 20 years
