- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Before I became a bartender I attended the Pacific Bartending School. Besides the on the job training and learning new drinks from patrons that sit at my bar, I go back to the bartending school about ever 4 months to learn new procedures or practices that might have changed or been implemented.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would have to say look for someone who seems passionate about what they do. Someone who truly enjoys making and serving beverages. The drinks reflect the passion of the bartender making them. Someone who is in this career to only collect a paycheck is not going to spend the time to perfect they're craft. In return you will receive a subpar cocktail.
