FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try and work within most budgets. If you have a very small budget, we can discuss what it will take to get the project done within the budget. I have an idea of how much I need to make for each project to be something I can manage. Sometimes it means taking some shortcuts or working quickly. It's always nice to have a bigger budget to work with, but I don't let that limit what I'm willing to take on.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend classes every year to learn and stay up to date with anything new and to learn new methods and just improve in all areas of my work. I have been taking classes at Art Center in Pasadena, Barnsdall Art Park and the Armory, as well as life drawing and painting every other week.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have been working primarily in TV & film for the last couple of years, making props and creating illustrations. It's been my favorite type of work because it's always something different, exciting and challenging. There are always multiple people that have to approve the end result and I love seeing where each project leads. I also have several consistent clients that I've been working with for years that include print and web design, fine art and other creative projects.
