Hi, I’m Ken and I have played guitar professionally for several years. I also love to teach. I have a Bachelor of Music degree from USC’s Thornton School of Music, and can teach almost any style (I’m not very good at flamenco).
My lessons are fun and consist of technique, sight reading, and of course learning tons of songs. The cool part about guitar is, after the first lesson, you will be working on a tune you’ve heard on the radio.
I can travel to you or you can come to me. My rates are $ 25 for half hour and $ 50 for an hour. Lessons are provided out of my apartment located by The Grove.
If I am traveling to you, I charge $ 70 per hour. Guitar is fun, give it a shot!

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I try to teach what the student wants to not, not what I want to student to learn. Of course, there are basics and I know the student should learn, and I certainly don't skip over those details!

A. Teaching someone something they have never learned is the best part, it is so rewarding.

A. What do you teach in your lessons? I always answer, technique, theory, sight reading, and the majority is applying all the technical elements to learning songs that YOU want to learn!
