Introduction: Want to learn guitar in the North Hollywood area? Emmy nominated, 2-time BAFTA winning composer/sound designer Craig Sternberg is now offering guitar lessons to all ages and skill levels.

Craig Sternberg makes learning easier. He has the knack of understanding just what is required for the student. In my experience of lessons with Craig, my theoretical knowledge and technique improved tremendously in the period that he taught me. With Craig's assistance I gained the confidence to enrol in a Bachelor of Music Degree to further pursue my musical goals.
I should also say that this happened even though we live on opposite sides of the globe - me in Australia, Craig in the United States. Craig is a great teacher with a fantastic and always helpful attitude.

Craig is the best guitar teacher I've ever had. But the term guitar teacher doesn't do him justice. He's been a creative mentor, someone with the skill-set to challenge the student to new heights, and someone with whom you can talk about things even outside of the musical realm. An all around awesome individual.

In my time of playing guitar I have had many people who claim to be a "guitar teacher"... but until I started taking lessons from Craig over Skype I never really knew what a true guitar teacher was.
Craig truly is a great teacher, because he takes notice of your interests musically, and takes in your current level of guitar skill, and then structures your lessons based on your interests, and skill.
Overall Craig Sternberg is an awesome teacher, and great guy.
I would recommend him to anyone... both experienced players and beginners.

Since I've started taking lessons from Craig my guitar playing (and my confidence in it) has increased a lot. Craig is a great teacher that somehow manages to always come up with good training exercises that fit with whatever I was looking into myself. He makes pretty much all his exercises himself and he keeps you on your toes in terms of difficulty, which is very motivating. His lessons are a good mix of theory and practice. They're fun and occasionally kick your ass as well.
