I teach begining and intermediate students guitar chords, techniques, scales and songs. I try to tailor the lessons to the style of music you like. I believe that the surest way to learn is by learning to play songs and riffs right away, so that it is a fun process.
I have been playing guitar for decades, and I have gigged with rock, blues, folk and jazz bands in many parts of the country. I come to you and teach at your house; I have a variety of rates. The higher rate includes recording songs and lessons for you to play with and study. Long travel time can affect rate as well.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I believe that we are motivated to do that which is fun and interesting, so I strive for the "Instant gratification" teaching method. I try to get my students playing and jamming as soon as possible so that the lessons don't become drudgery. The students who stick with it and practise are the ones who are having the most fun.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I enjoy bringing the experience of playing music to kids and adults alike. So many people say "I wish I could play an instrument", and they can! it just takes a few minutes a day, and before you know it you CAN play music.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Do you teach acoustic or electric guitar? The answer is both.
Can I pick the songs I want to learn? The answer is yes, though some difficult material may take a while to work up to.
