Just got my first skype guitar lesson with the amazingly talented Pete Hopkins! It was so easy working with such a pro! Pete has a real natural flair for teaching. I was able to grasp the lesson in lightening speed compared to what I had envisioned. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a contemporary guitar teacher. Next I would like to try vocal lesson as Pete has such a truly gifted voice, and sings everything with passion and an incredible range. To work with Pete as a producer, I am really excited to see what he comes up with in the studio on an original song I wrote . Thank you Pete for the great lesson. Here's to many more! Need I say more? Not when you can listen to Pete on Utube or Facebook and hear for yourself!

I take guitar lessons from Pete once a week. He is very good at devising interesting lessons to work on particular techniques, and good at pointing out how to address certain issues I am having in order to get better results. He's also very personable. I recommend Pete!

I started working with Pete 6 months ago to learn the bass guitar. I came to him with zero musical knowledge, much less any ability to play a single note. He is knowledgeable of all kinds of music, extremely patient in his approach, and genuinely invested in his students progress. I appreciate that he tailors his lesson plans to not only develop his students skill set, but also enables them to quickly play the music they love. I enjoy the skills that Im learning during lessons, and I also have a lot of fun with him throughout the process!

My experience with Pete has been amazing and quit a discovery in what my voice can do and become in such a short span of time. He is very instinctive and an incredible vocalist. He knows vocal styles and can zero in on a singers range and abilities. He knows how to really exercise or work the voice in that one hour session. I felt like I found the perfect coach for me, and I've been through a few in this town. With Pete, it ends up being a lot more than just a lesson.
