FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do a lot of staging jobs to sell the property which often leads to being hired to help the client with the interior design of their new home. If I can shop for the current house with their new home in mind, then there won't be any need to buy extra decorative items. By the time they are in their new home, we have already built up a good rapport and I have a good idea of their design taste. I always aim to help the client get what she wants, not force my ideas on people. I have re-designed and decorated offices, a ranch house/health retreat with twelve bedrooms, a barn conversion and several apartments and houses.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Speak to the provider on the phone because you will know instantly whether you want to work with the person. A company can have the greatest website in the world but if you don't like them then what use is it? Also a lot of websites use stock photos and so you don't really get a good idea of how good (or bad) their work is. If you can't trust the designer to use pictures of houses they have actually designed and staged, then how can you trust them to do the job properly? Anyone with the Staging Diva logo has already agreed to exclusively use their own photographs.
