David Gyepes J.D., Ph.D. and QME

Introduction: David Gyepes, J.D., Ph.D. treats adults, couples and adolescents with depression, anxiety, career and relationship difficulties, panic attacks, sleep problems, childhood trauma, addiction, post-traumatic stress disorder and chronic pain. The modalities include psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral psychotherapy and hypnotherapy. Dr. Gyepes received his Ph.D. in psychology from the California Graduate Institute, where he served as a managing intern at the institute's counseling center. He has a certification in clinical hypnotherapy. Dr. Gyepes is also licensed as an attorney, completing a juris doctorate degree at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. He graduated with honors from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a bachelor of arts degree in history. He is certified by the California Division of Workers' Compensation as a qualified medical examiner. Dr. Gyepes evaluates patients in workers' compensation, civil, disability fitness for duty and immigration matters. He provides clinical and forensic consultation to psychologists, neuropsychologists and psychiatrists and lectures on topics including post-traumatic stress disorder, sleep disorders and chronic pain. He is a member in good standing of the Los Angeles County Psychological Association, The California Psychological Association, The California Society of Industrial Medicine and Surgery, The Los Angeles County Bar Association and the California State Bar Association.
