- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Go To Girl charges hourly $85/hour for a lead Go To Girl $35/hour for an assistant Go To Girl 3 hour minimum per session.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with an initial consultation, which is complimentary, where we discuss the areas of focus and asses the hours needed to complete the project. This can be done in person, although I find that a little emailing and photos are more time effective. The session begins with sorting & purging. We sort into categories: Keep, Sell, Donate, Fix, Recycle + Dispose. Sessions are typically 3-5 hours depending on the project (Go To Girl has a 3 hour minimum). After the sorting is complete, we get to the fun stuff: Styling! We style the space to maximize its beauty and potential. We send a recap email after each session with a detailed list of all that was accomplished, what's next and a list suggestions for items to purchase to finish the transformation. Although some projects take additional sessions, the client feels great after the first session!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied social anthropology, interior design and psychology. I have found that Go To Girl came out of all of those disciplines...and lots of world travel.
