- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my work are bathroom and kitchen remodels, but I also do many furniture and decorating-type projects. I like both aspects of design, but I especially like the construction end of it. It is perhaps more frustrating, and gratifying at the same time.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I think like any service, you need to understand exactly what your needs are, and what your budget range is. My services range from selecting paint colors, to designing an entire kitchen, so knowing what you want is extremely important. I suggest browsing through books, and current magazines, and pulling out images of things that interest you, etc., always helps to show your taste, style, and preferences. Also, really understand your budget ahead of time. Do some research on materials (i.e., toilets, lighting fixtures, furniture, etc.), just so you aren't caught off guard with the numbers.
